PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Southwest Portland girl has had an aggressive form of cancer for most of her life.
Two years ago, she and her family were almost evicted. But after a KOIN 6 News report, management decided to let them stay.
But sadly, 14-year-old Aly Lilly’s battle with the disease is coming to an end.
“You can’t look at her without seeing the life and love that radiates from her,” Aly’s father Jeremy said.
For 12 years, Aly has battled a rare form of brain cancer, spending much of her life at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital.
Now, her journey is coming to an end. Aly decided to stop receiving treatment and spend her remaining time with her parents and 3 siblings.
