#DidYouKnowTHE ICE-JUCY STORY:In 1905, eleven-year-old Frank Epperson from San Francisco, California ACCIDENTALLY invented the popular Popsicle. One cold evening Frank left a mixture of powder flavored soda-water with a stir stick in it on the porch. Because of the cold weather outside, he awoke to a frozen treat on a stick. Skeptics are saying that temperature in San Francisco never dropped low enough to freeze anything. But even if it’s just a good PR story, the fact remains that Epperson did, indeed, invent the Popsicle. Seventeen years later, in 1922, Epperson served his ice lollipops at a Fireman’s ball and they were a huge hit. He then filed for a patent in 1923. Though he had been calling his creations “EPPSICLES,” he changed the name to “POPSICLES” for the patent because his children always asked for “Pop’s sicles.”Love💋💋💋M. #MeghnaPedia #MeghnasFunFoodFacts #TodayIFoundOut #ChefMeghna
